Motherhood: An Eternal Partnership with God

Paige, thanks for posting this on your blog! I wanted to also share its message. It is good to hear it and remember it. Be sure to turn off my music so you can hear it.

Bethany Janelle Everett

Bethany Janelle Everett...born August 4, 2010 (Happy Birthday, Grandpa E). She weighed 6'15" and was 19 inches long.

She is pretty content except when it is diaper changing time. She looks somewhat like Maddie, same nose and lips. Madilyn likes having a sister, except when she feels that it is her turn with Mommy, then we see a little jealousy. Yesterday Maddie wanted Daddy to feed Bethany and today she wanted to sit with me so I ended up having both of them on my lap during scripture time. But she is excited to see her in the mornings and says, "Besany...cutie pie". We are all happy she is here and enjoy being a family of four! More pictures will follow.

Without going into the details of a LONG story, we have decided to tell what the probable name will be. Drum Roll.................

Bethany Janelle

Any possible rumors about it being Bethany Claire are just that, rumors. It is more of a joke. Think about it... Bethan---y Claire. Like E'Clair, the pastry.

Of course, we to reserve the right to change her name at any moment.

Baby Names

I think we have decided on a name. It has "stuck" for 2 days straight, which is a record. Usually, one of us decides we don't like part of the name after a day of thinking about it. What is is? You can ask Maddie, although her response might be something different, or you can wait for 19 days!

This picture just cracked me up. It is of Maddie running around our hotel room in Park City.

There is a website, BabyCenter.com, that attempts to give you an idea of how big your baby is. This week...a crenshaw melon. Last week was a honeydew melon, next week, she'll be as long as a stalk of swiss chard. Week 39, a leek. I guess you have to get pretty creative.
No, we still don't have a name, but I do have an end in site. I will possibly be induced on August 4, if she hasn't come before then.
