We finally got out the kite Maddie got for Easter. I don't think she has ever see one before. She was excited to see Elmo, although she kept signing "dog" (I haven't taught her the sign for monster yet). She held onto to the kite pretty well, but not for a long time--she handed it off to mommy so she could watch. She is also enjoying the lawn mower and tractor (not shown) that Grandma and Grandpa gave her last year. Yesterday, I started mowing the lawn and she would go back over some of the spots I "missed". Ephraim finished mowing while we moved onto pulling weeds. Maddie stood next to me and "helped" by wearing the gardening gloves and pointing out the weeds I should pull up.
Maddie, can I come help you mow the lawn? I miss not having one to mow. You are a super good helper. I can't wait to play with you next week!

Those lawn mowers are the best! Kelton and Ry had some that lasted a couple of years, and used more than weekley! Enjoy mowing Maddie!
