Presenting Stylista Madilyn Renae

I will usually pick out 2 different choices of an outfit to wear and let Maddie pick which one she wants to wear. However, this day, her inner Stylista came out and the result...a farm animal onsie (not snapped up because it is too small) and a floral on purple print skirt...over her current outfit. And of course, pig tails and sunglasses add the finishing touch to a 1&1/2 year old expressing her sense of style. (Once again, sorry everything is sideways)

Only a grandchild

Only a grandchild could get both of her grandparents up on the trampoline!

The 4th and fireworks

Maddie was ready for the 4th of July-shades, shorts, and stars. Ephraim worked until early in teh evening so we just stayed home, had a picnic in our backyard, let Maddie do pops--she couldn't throw them hard enough, so she just stepped on them, she did like the sparklers, too. She understands "hot" but not the concept of holding the flames away from you--I got pretty nervous--we only did 2 boxes. Afterthat, we waited until dark and watched several fireworks displays from our backyard. We live on a hill and could see 4 different displays througout the valley.

65 years and still going

My grandparents celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary in June. Ephraim had to work, but Maddie and I went up for the party. After lunch at, of course, Maddox in Perry, UT, we went to a little open house they were having in Ogden. Maddie and Whitney kept busy playing in the gutter water.
